Undeterred by the near-disastrous end to our Northern Lights Cruise in 2019, we chose to put our future cruise credit towards an even more ambitious itinerary, involving
Cape Horn!
While Viking's ships are all essentially identical, a new feature was introduced on Viking Orion and Viking Jupiter
in the form of a 24-seat planetarium called the "Explorers Dome". Interesting...
We actually did this almost identical itinerary over 17 years ago aboard P&O's "Arcadia" in 2002. On that occasion, we were accompanied by a number of friends, including
Anny & Joyce, who have since sadly passed away, but this time we will be joining our new American friends Vicki and Craig whom we first met in 2015 aboard Celebrity Eclipse on our trip to Iceland.
