My first experience of 'true sail' was in 2022 aboard the brand new Sea Cloud Spirit and it was such a wonderful experience that when I received a special 'Birthday Offer' from Sea Cloud Cruises, I couldn't resist the opportunity to return and try out one of her sisters.

Built in 2011, Sea Cloud II is older and at 3,849 gross tons, a bit smaller than Sea Cloud Spirit but very similar in style and a genuine 3-masted 'sailing barque' with real sails manned by a crew of 65 for a maximum capacity of just 94 passengers.
