The first steels had not long been cut at Meyer Werft's shipyard when Andrew, Angie and I decided to book this cruise and with little more to go on than the 6-star reputation of Silversea Cruises and that the 11th ship in the fleet would be just 54,700grt and 728 passengers, there were many unknowns but it promised to be not only something different but something special!
