Explora II (2024: 63,900grt 922pax)

Following the success of our cruise on Explora I in 2024, we booked again on MSC's new luxury brand Explora Journeys, this time on sister ship, Explora II. Indeed, the marketing deal at the time was so good that we also booked on their newest ship, Explora III, for 2027!

For this trip, we were joined by our friends and neighbours, Peter & Lesley, as well as friend Susan, who was no strnager to expedition cruising but who would be on her first 'proper luxury' cruise! Having experienced 5 heat waves in the UK already, it was still very hot in the Mediterranean and some of the excursions proved quite draining at times. However, Explora II proved every bit as good as we hoped - and more! It was just too short....
